With over 15 years of experience in architecture and design, our team guides homeowners through every step of the process—from initial concept and design, to permitting, and all the way through construction. We are passionate about helping people build their dream homes, blending creativity with technical expertise to ensure a smooth, thoughtful, and inspiring journey.
Our Story
CJ Design was founded by two architects who share both a cultural heritage and a passion for design. Originally from China, our founders graduated from the country’s top architecture schools before pursuing their Master of Architecture degrees from USC. Their early careers were shaped at leading international firms, where they gained extensive experience designing large-scale commercial buildings and complex developments.

Three years ago, they discovered a new calling—residential design. What began as a few personal projects quickly grew into a thriving practice, fueled by the joy of working directly with homeowners. Helping individuals and families bring their dream homes to life became more than just a profession—it became their true passion. Today, CJ Design is dedicated to creating personalized, thoughtful, and enduring residential spaces that reflect the unique stories of the people who live in them.
